Who is Umalohókan the Jedi Chaplain?

Anyone who has thought about baby names has undoubtedly looked up names and their meanings. You want your newborn child's name to mean something. You want their name to speak to who you daughter or son will become and how they will leaver their mark on the world.

Having been involved in spiritual coaching and pastoral care for over 30 years, it was only during the years following the worldwide pandemic that I learned about the existence of Jedi Chaplains. Further study led me to Jedi communities around the world and to studying the Jedi beliefs. 

An important aspect of looking at life that I learned at the Temple of the Jedi Order is to not just decide to receive something because I like it but rather to investigate further to understand what it means to me personally. One example that is used a lot is the color of my lightsaber. Do I like blue because I'm a boy, or pink because I'm a girl, or do I want it to be green because it's my favorite color and because Luke Skywalker had a green one too?
